It’s a fresh start and a world of possibility with this stream and website combo. I’ll stream on Twitch and give viewers access to my files on this site. It’ll help me make a truly interactive viewer experience. Viewers won’t have to just passively watch me work; they’ll be able to grab their own copy to use or to modify and redistribute as they like.
I want to get active quickly and not get mired down in all the little details right now. Content is King, right? So, I’m just doing a quick and dirty setup for the site. I’ll worry about setting up the site as a broader community later. For now, I’ll publish my own stream and workspace front and center until I get some exposure/viewers.
The stream’s workspace will be on the front page right now. I’m going to embed the stream on an alt page so that those already viewing the stream don’t have to have a duplicate running just to view my links to files and such. I’ll link to the alt page in the menu right above the main content so visitors notice it.
I am super excited to be able to share my process and maybe help others with a bit of my time and resources. I don’t have the power-user setup that most of the vibe coders have on their streams, but I’m not really vibe coding, either. I’ll build enthusiasm for the more careful, iterative approach I use by producing high-quality apps and plugins that stand ABOVE the vibe-coded offerings.
I’ll add a link to a Google Form on the workspace page. It’ll let viewers submit requests for me to quickly vibe code simple software solutions, web pages, or page elements. I can generate code snippets that people request and test them on the live testing site on the stream.
By taking requests and making new files and apps available to download frequently during the stream, it should keep viewers engaged. I’ll use the ‘vibecoding’ tag to get some viewership and keep the little successes coming so new viewers see the gains soon after joining.
I’ll keep pumping out goodies, like music and research reports, on the side while i work, so there’s always something new for viewers to grab regularly while I’m live. I’ll use the generated music as the stream’s soundtrack and use audio overviews of research reports periodically when the music runs out.
Alright, time to do something interesting on the stream. Maybe the co-working plugin for websites I started, or maybe the reward system repair app, or maybe a useful automation…. so much I can do!
